A Good Idea

Well, this is Squidy for this weeks ramble, so here is the story of how Jude and I met:
Right well, a good place is to start is well, the start.  So here it is: Long, long ago I was on a search for my long lost brother, Matthew.  He had disappeared while teaching in Korea and I had learned through my, lets say “connections” that he was enslaved to a dragon as a sweatshop worker. The location was still unknown but my search landed me in a Tibetan zoo.  I love my brother dearly, but pandas…they’re just so darn cute, and the zoo was closed for the night with poor security, they were just asking me to scale the fence and look for a way into the cage!  As I was chatting it up with my new panda friend and trying to find a weak spot into his habitat I heard some very strange noises, you may find this silly, but what i heard was along the lines of “Squeeker, squeekem, squeeckest” and various other nonsensical jabber.  Being of the curious sort and mostly worried about being found out for trying to get into the panda cage, I went to investigate.  And there, a few feet from the Tiger cages I saw him.  I remember being impressed by his calm manner as numerous squirrels chattered away while working together to tie down the human they caught.  Jude was making the nonsensical jabber that i had heard, these words were his attempts at communication with the squirrels to persuade them into releasing him. Quickly I jumped in and started whacking the squirrels with a large branch.  What I hadn’t accounted for however, were the reinforcement the furry little blighters had waiting in the trees.
yada yada yada we ended up on a stolen ship heading to the Caribbean and we’ve been good friends since.   ~Squidy out
